House of Sundanese (55 Boat Quay, Boat Quay, Singapore) – Given its geographic location, it’s expected that at least some restaurants here will offer Indonesian cuisine. This modest restaurant serves, among other items, delicious barbecue fish, with several smaller dishes to share. This, along with with keredok (vegetables in spicy peanut dressing), taupok goreng isi (bean-curd-skin rolls stuffed with scallops, prawns, water chestnuts, and mushrooms); and sedap ikan snapper bakar (broiled red snapper in sweet sauce).
