Malay Heritage Centre (85 Sultan Gate, Singapore) – this center occupies what was formerly the royal seat of the Malay sultans in Singapore. Built in 1842 by architect George Coleman, it was refurbished to its original state, highlighting Malay culture and heritage in Singapore through historical artifacts, multimedia & diorama displays, and exhibits. On the grounds of this museum is a replica of a Bugis prahu (boat).
Mondays, closed; Open Tuesdays to Sundays 10am – 6pm (last admission 5:30pm). Admission: Adults ($4); Students ($2); Seniors ($3)
