Asian Civilizations Museum (1 Empress Place, Singapore) – originally built in 1865 as a court house, this building also housed the Registry of Births and Deaths, as well as the Singapore Mint. From 1989, it became known as the Empress Place Museum, and reopened in 2003 as the Asian Civilizations Museum (housing 10 thematic galleries, showcasing over 1,500 artifacts spanning five millennia of Asian cultures).

 

Monday 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm; Tuesday to Saturday 9:00 am – 7:00 pm

Admission: adult ($8); seniors (above 60 years old), children (7-18 years old) and students ($4); free admission for children 6 years and under.
