Peranakan Museum (39 Armenian Street, Singapore) – this museum lets visitors delve into the rich history, traditions and culture of early settlers in the former Straits Settlements of Singapore, Malacca and Penang, and their links with other communities in Southeast Asia. Thanks to its huge collection of Peranakan artifacts, visitors can learn about the rituals, traditions and material culture of these unique communities.

 

Open Monday 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm; Tuesday to Sundays 9:00 am – 7:00 pm (Friday to 9:00 pm). Admission: Adult ($6), Tourists 60 and above ($3).
