Phuture (17 Jiak Kim Street, Singapore) — A part of seminal clubbing hotspot Zouk, Phuture is like a quirky and funky baby brother of Zouk. The small but intimate space is usually filled with hip dancers and frenetic clubbers eager to get their groove on, but don’t let that put you off as Phuture also has a relaxed atmosphere that is most welcoming.

Its design features works from the likes of James Rosenquist and Roy Litchtenstein, which further spruces up its off-beat appeal. Phuture is also musically adventurous, playing everything from nu-jazz, drum ‘n’ bass and hip hop to funk. As its moniker implies, this club’s approach is futuristic – both in music and design – making a night at Phuture one to remember.
