Velvet Underground (17 Jiak Kim Street, Singapore) –Another member of the Zouk stable, Velvet Underground is a small and stylish club adjunct to the main club. It has two rooms, the main dance floor and bar, and a second chill out room designed for the more intimate of occasions.
Its psychedelic décor (which includes big sofas and 60’s furniture) emboldens the DJ’s fat beats. The crowd here is also sexy and friendly – consisting of mostly PMEBs (professionals, managers, executives and bankers) in Singapore.
